Once you book, we will send you a link to an app that has all this information for arrival and more.


Please Note:

Reservations must be made online and in advance. WRH does not accept walk-ins or provide phone reservations.


Online registration / check-in must be done online before arrival.


Arrival and Parking Instructions:


Step 1: Check-In Online.

Once you check-in, you should receive a message with codes. If your codes do not arrive, contact us through the guest app link or via text.


Step 2: Arrive.

Step 3: PARK legally close by

Find legal parking on West River Street or in the lot nearby. Take your luggage inside and find your room.

There are parking meter towers to pay if you plan to leave it for longer than a quick jaunt. Do not park on Riverside Dr.


Step 4: Find overnight parking

Summer Parking (May 1 – October 31)

During summer, parking is flexible:

  • You may park on the street or in the Jax parking lot for free between 6 PM and 10 AM.
  • Between 10 AM and 6 PM, street and lot parking are paid.
  • Look for the brown towers on the sidewalk for instructions to pay with coins, credit cards or pay by text.


Winter Parking (November 1 – April 30)

 

The best place to park overnight is in the free section of the lot next to JAX restaurant. The following link will take you to the lot.

There is no explicit signage. Look for the following sign and try to park to the right of it:

NOTES: If you don't find parking now, later in the evening, the lot will open up as JAX restaurant empties. There is no parking on Riverside Dr.

There are other places to park in Orange on the larger map shown at the top of the page.


Snow removal ordinances are in effect during winter, which limits overnight parking options. Please follow these guidelines:

  • Daytime Parking (10 AM – 6 PM):
  • Areas marked BLUE on the map are available for daytime parking.
  • The Parking District operates from 10 AM to 6 PM daily. You can pay for parking at nearby pay-by-plate stations—just remember your license plate number before heading to the station.
  • Payment options include the Flowbird App or by text; details are posted at the pay stations.
  • Overnight Parking (After 6 PM):
  • Areas marked ORANGE on the map are available for free overnight parking after 6 PM when the Parking District closes.
  • Pay close attention to the posted signage in these areas for snow removal schedules.
  • Important: Parking outside designated areas may result in towing.
