  • Are Pets Allowed?

    No.

  • Is there a kitchen or sauna?

    Not a full kitchen. We offer basic accommodations with a communal microwave and refrigerator in the entry room that all can use. 

  • What amenities do you offer

    The WRH is simple accommodation. We offer you an affordable and clean place to sleep (with towel and bedding) with minimal amenities , but we do have wi-fi.

  • Is this a hotel?

    This is a basic, clean and affordable lodging in downtown Truckee catering to active individuals, familes and budget conscious travelers. Though we also offer 1 small shared bunk room, this is not a party vibe. The majority of the rooms are single, couple and family-oriented.

  • What is self-check-in?

    You book online and then complete check-in from your phone or computer before you arrive. No waiting in line or doing cumbersome check-in at the hotel.

  • Is there a front desk?

    Although we don't have a physical front desk, we are always available via messaging. 

  • Is this ok for children?

    Kids love the family rooms with bunk beds. The family rooms have shared bathrooms.

  • What are the bathrooms like?

    There are rooms with private bathroom and rooms with shared bathrooms.


    Each shared bathroom is 1 sink, 1 toilet and 1 shower in a single occupancy format.

  • Where is there parking?

    In Winter, there is snow clearing and thus there is no on-street parking in 

    downtown.


    Downtown Truckee can be crowded at times. The town provides free overnight parking with the closest option about 150 ft from the front door.


    When arriving, we find the best thing to do is find legal parking nearby to unload your luggage and then park your car for overnight.
